3 Idiots
To my mind, the film '3 Idiots' is one the best that has ever been produced. I believe that the most important part of the film is the message each one is trying to get across. In that particular one, the examples from real life are numerous.
Firstly, 'aal izz well', which means everything is alright, will be the line no one will ever forget. It might sound funny but having the whole explanation given for it, will fascinate you. As Rancho said, heart gets easily scared, so by saying 'all is well' he managed to calm himself down.
Secondly, as of the notion of family, there were various types. In Farhan's case, his family stressed and putpressure on him so as to become an engineer. The main reason for their behaviour was that all they wished was thei son to earn a high salary and them boast about it. No matter if Farhan wanted it or not, he felt 'obliged' to study engineering. His family would always support him and try their best for him. In contrast to Raju's family, he chose to study engineering, as he thought that way he could protect his family. He would make a lot of money and thus help his sister to get married and provide a better life for his parents. His family also supposted him. However, these cases cannot be compared to Pia's family. 'Virus', her father and principal of ICE, would always stress his children to become either engineers or doctors. His son, Pia's brother, commited suicide, as he could not handle that situation. Yet, Pia became a doctor. 'Virus' may not bear much difference from the other two, however, he was exaggerating to an extensive point.
Thirdly, the fact that success does not come with happiness and chasing money will not bring success. We could clearly get that from the movie. Rancho, who studied engineering for someone else, proved to be a great upcoming scientist who aimed at excellence and happiness. He managed to build a school and made 400 inventions. Chatur, on the other hand, sought for fame and money, however, he fullfilled his desires. Chatur thiught that Rancho had failed in the beginning, but it turned out that the notorious scientist Chatur was trying to get into contact with was Rancho after all. This can also be assossiated with the fact that Rancho kept insisting that people must do what they love. Farhan did not want tobecome an engineer, yet he studied for it. He had a flair for photography, but never applied for a photography course. Rancho did so. He secretly sent to a photographer some sample photographs to show him what Farhan was capable of. As a result, the photographer asked if Farhan could hepl him with a wildlife project he was up to. At the end of the day, Farhan became an excellent photographer because he did what he loved most.
Last but not least, the greatest message that movie was trying to get across, was the importance of having true friends. There are many examples of the strong bond that was built among Rancho, Raju and Farhan. For instance, when Raju's father was having aheart attack, Rancho took immediately action and did not wait for the amblulance to come, as it would be too late for Raju's father. Also, the suppost Rancho and Farhan shoed Raju when he was in hospital is remarkable. Moreover, the fact that Raju prefered to commit suicide instead of letting Rancho or himself be expelled is another incident that indicates how much they loved each other.
