“SUPER SIZE
ME”
In my opinion, the thing that impressed me the most in the movie “Supersize Me” is its meaning. Morgan Spurlock tried to show us that fast food is bad for us after two young girls had become obese from eating McDonald's. He did an experiment by eating three McDonald's meals daily for 30 days. Besides gaining weight, his physical and psychological condition had worsen. He visited a school where the children were not able to recognize photos of Jesus and George Washington, but they were certainly able to recognize Ronald McDonald's. The fast food companies tempt children at a young age by offering play grounds and birthday parties at their stores. When children start eating fast food, they get hooked on it and continue eating it as adults. The companies make millions of dollars at the public’s expense. It is important for us to have the good sense to distinguish what is good for us and what isn’t. Only we are responsible for what we put in our bodies.
